Group Fitness Instructor – Part‑Time

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking energetic and motivated Group Fitness Instructors to lead safe, engaging classes for participants of all fitness levels. This part‑time position reports to the Campus Life Director and contributes to a positive, inclusive wellness environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead dynamic group fitness classes, including cardio, strength training, HIIT, cycling, yoga, dance fitness, and more.
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide clear verbal and visual instructions.
• Modify exercises to accommodate varying fitness levels, physical limitations, and individual needs.
• Monitor participants’ form and technique to ensure safety and maintain a welcoming class atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and class spaces.
• Assist with fitness events, member outreach, and promotional activities as needed.

Required profile

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Experience teaching group fitness classes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals and groups.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
