Groundskeeper / Porter

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the community’s outdoor areas and common spaces. This full‑time, onsite position supports the service team in keeping the property attractive and functional for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, ensuring all common areas and amenities remain tidy.
• Clear trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and keep storage spaces clean.
• Perform minor and routine service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist the make‑ready specialist during apartment turnover activities.
• Change locks in accordance with property policy and maintain security standards.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliability and punctuality for a full‑time schedule.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of lock replacement and maintenance.
• Familiarity with waste handling and disposal procedures.
