Groundskeeper / Porter

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of our community in Gilbert. The role supports the service team by keeping common areas clean, handling minor service requests, and ensuring all amenities meet Greystar standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Perform minor and routine service tasks as assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with unit turn‑around activities.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features operate correctly.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA and other safety training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and crawl in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to follow Greystar safety and risk‑management policies.
