Groundskeeper / Porter for Yardly Laveen Spectrum Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of the Yardly Laveen Spectrum community. You will ensure common areas, amenities, and vacant units are clean, orderly, and ready for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain those storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during turnover.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Basic lock‑changing ability.
• Knowledge of safety and hazard reporting procedures.
