Groundskeeper / Porter for Caldera Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the appearance and safety of the Caldera community in Chandler. Working closely with the service team, you will ensure common areas, amenities and surrounding grounds are clean, functional and welcoming for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris and pet waste, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor and assist the make‑ready specialist.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high curb‑appeal standards.
