Groundskeeper (Lease‑Up) – The Waylon

About the role

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of The Waylon community during its lease‑up phase. The role supports the service team and ensures all common areas, amenities and exterior spaces meet Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris and pet waste, keeping all common areas and amenities clean.
• Remove trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist with unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and ensure pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communicate relevant information.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and addressing maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing ladders and lifting objects.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
