Graphic Designer – Investment Banking Presentation Team

About the role

This position supports Presentation Technology, a specialist group that creates live deal, pitch‑book and custom design materials for internal banking clients. The role is onsite in Getzville, NY, working a 1st‑shift schedule of 7 am‑3:30 pm, Monday‑Friday or Tuesday‑Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Produce marketing materials such as pitch books, deal books, covers, templates and infographics using Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
• Create and enhance PowerPoint pitch books, including motion graphics and visual concepts.
• Trace and produce logos, maps and illustrations.
• Ensure all outputs follow Citi branding standards and advise clients on brand usage.
• Liaise with workflow staff and clients to define deadlines, instructions and design requirements.
• Complete administrative tasks for work billing and job tracking.
• Assist with intake coordination and quality control of own and colleagues’ work.
• Mentor new starters after training and contribute to internal best‑practice initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of admin/operational support experience in a corporate, service‑oriented environment, preferably financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design with 3‑5 years relevant experience.
• Portfolio or recent work samples demonstrating graphic‑design capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional).
• Familiarity with Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition and Blender (advantage).
• Experience with MapInfo and external print processes (desirable).

What we offer

• On‑site role with a 12‑month fixed‑term contract (possible extension).
• Hourly rate of $32.50.
• First‑shift schedule with a half‑hour unpaid lunch.
