About the role

Infosys is seeking a Google Cloud Architect to join its Engineering unit in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure cloud solutions that leverage advanced AI and machine‑learning capabilities, helping clients accelerate time‑to‑market and achieve hyper‑productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide architectural recommendations, contribute to technology framework development, and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, performing comparative analyses to identify optimal solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, adherence to quality standards, and support build‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyze system performance post‑implementation and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation to enrich the team’s knowledge repository.

Required profile

• Strong ability to analyse, design and develop scalable, secure cloud architectures.
• Experience assessing multiple technologies, tools and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross‑functional teams and driving technical excellence.
