Goods Handling I – Material Picker & Packer

About the role

Alfa Laval is looking for a self‑motivated Goods Handling I to support material flow on the production floor. You will pick and pack materials for both external and internal customers, ensure timely supply to the line and maintain accurate inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack materials according to production orders for internal and external customers.
• Load and unload goods, verify quantities and packaging.
• Perform incoming inspection activities and report non‑conformities.
• Control inventory, conduct cycle counts and keep stock organized.
• Execute production work following ALPS standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lb and read Safety Data Sheets.
• Self‑motivated team player aligned with Alfa Laval’s drivers (Action, Interaction, Satisfaction).

• Inventory control and cycle counting.
• Intermediate computer skills.
