About the role

Key responsibilities

• Understand vehicles by studying characteristics, capabilities and features.
• Assist customers by understanding their needs and match those requirements to inventory.
• Demonstrate vehicles, take test drives and explain warranty and service programs.
• Develop buyers by building and maintaining rapport with previous customers and growing a new customer database.
• Complete sale by meeting customer expectations, ask for the sale and negotiate price.
• Deliver vehicle to customer by providing a comprehensive review of all the features to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Participate in sales events.
• Monitor market conditions and product development.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided by the company/manufacturer.

Required profile

• Prior automotive and/or retail sales experience a plus.
• Desire to provide a high level of customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be goal‑driven and have a strong desire to succeed.
• Excellent organizational, planning and strategizing skills.
