Global Payment Operations Specialist (Contractor)

About the role

Carrot is looking for a detail‑oriented Global Payment Operations Specialist to join its Product organization. In this contractor role you will help ensure the accuracy and efficiency of global payment processing while collaborating closely with Customer Success and Member Success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor global payment workflows, including cross‑border payments, currency conversions, and reconciliation.
• Partner with Customer Success and Member Success to resolve payment issues and improve member experience.
• Identify and implement improvements to operational workflows and documentation.
• Contribute to automation, scalability, and product enhancements related to payment processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in payment operations at a fintech, payments company, or bank.
• Strong analytical mindset, high integrity, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with payment platforms such as Stripe, Modern Treasury, Airwallex, and Corpay.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing workflows, cross‑border payments, currency conversion, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
