About the role

Corgi, a full‑stack insurance carrier leveraging AI, is seeking a VP of Finance & Corporate Development to steer financial planning, capital strategy, and growth initiatives. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will help shape the company’s direction through rigorous analysis and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long‑range modeling across the organization.
• Partner with executives on capital allocation, fundraising, and financing strategies.
• Prepare and manage investor and board‑related financial materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic opportunities.
• Build analytical models to support growth decisions and assess performance risks.
• Develop and scale strategic finance capabilities as the business expands.
• Drive high‑priority cross‑functional initiatives that impact company strategy.

Required profile

• 8+ years in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or senior finance leadership.
• Proven track record in fundraising, capital strategy, and investor‑facing finance.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments.
• Experience in venture‑backed or complex businesses; insurance or financial services background is a plus.
