Global Automotive Marketing Leader

About the role

The Global Automotive Marketing Leader will drive 3M’s marketing strategy across automotive, commercial vehicles, rail and transportation safety verticals. This senior position partners with industry leadership to translate revenue targets into integrated global marketing plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own a globally integrated marketing plan with KPIs, covering brand story, messaging, digital, events, ABM, channel marketing and analyst engagement.
• Lead end‑to‑end customer journey across web, digital, events, sales and distribution, identifying gaps and improving conversion.
• Own new product introduction commercialization, including launch strategy, sales enablement and claims planning.
• Set and deliver demand‑generation outcomes, using analytics to steer investment toward high‑return initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing Center, Area, channel and distribution teams to execute the global strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration.
• At least 10 years of B2B industry marketing, product marketing or business development experience.
• Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, rail or transportation safety markets.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms.
• Experience using marketing automation tools.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and web analytics tools.
