General Manager - Restoration Construction

About the role

Kimmel & Associates, a leader in commercial and residential disaster restoration construction projects, is hiring a General Manager for its San Francisco branch. You will oversee all operations of the branch and lead a team focused on fire and water mitigation, cleaning and pack-out of contents, and reconstruction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the region, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee project execution from start to finish, including fire and water mitigation, construction rebuilds and other restoration services.
• Manage the P&L for the region, focusing on profitability, cash flow and cost controls (fixed and variable).
• Develop and implement strategies to grow business and revenue year over year.
• Recruit, train and mentor a high-performing team of restoration professionals.
• Execute multiple operational plans at once and maintain strong customer relationships and retention.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General or Regional Manager or in a senior leadership role, covering operations, P&L, sales and team management.
• Experience leading a diverse team and growing revenue annually in a consumer-focused sales or operations environment.
• Experience providing sales leadership.
• Open to someone outside restoration, preferably from a service-related industry.

Required skills

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and cost control.

• Salary of $155,000 to $175,000 plus base salary, with 50% bonus potential.
