General Manager – Daytona Beach Retail Center

About the role

Tanger is seeking a General Manager to lead its Daytona Beach outlet center. The role blends independent decision‑making with collaborative teamwork in a flexible, Teams‑driven environment designed to foster connection, innovation, and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Net Operating Income (NOI) by expanding revenue streams and controlling expenses.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans, annual budgets, and 5‑year capital plans to maximize property performance.
• Produce monthly financial forecasts and manage real‑time revenue and expense positions.
• Lead local leasing initiatives, negotiate deals with retailers, and convert temporary arrangements into permanent leases.
• Optimize core profit centers such as CAM fees, short‑term leasing, utilities, waste handling, and marketing partnerships.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate operations to leverage portfolio‑wide contracts for better pricing and service.
• Maintain a clean, well‑lit, safe shopping environment that delivers a positive customer experience.
• Supervise the Operations Director and coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, and other teams to uphold Tanger’s standards of excellence.

Required profile

• Proven ability to increase NOI and manage large‑scale retail properties.
• Strong financial planning and budgeting experience.
• Demonstrated success in retail leasing and tenant relationship management.
• Leadership skills to oversee operations and maintenance teams.
