About the role
The General Labor position provides emergency restoration and disaster recovery services to customers. You will work under the direction of the Lead Technician or Crew Chief to complete water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, pack‑out of contents, removal of non‑salvageable materials, cleaning, light construction and demolition.
- Set up and monitor air movers and dehumidifiers, and may conduct additional cleaning duties such as carpet, upholstery, or odor remediation.
- Report equipment malfunctions, customer issues, and any damage to the supervisor.
- Complete assigned tasks according to company processes while maintaining quality control.
Required profile
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to work within a team, follow instructions, and stay on task.
- Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Reliability in reporting to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lb, stand, walk, squat, crawl and use respirators when required.
