About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center‑Shreveport are recruiting two General Cardiology faculty members to join the Center of Excellence for Cardiovascular Diseases and Sciences. The appointment is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and requires board certification/eligibility and Louisiana medical licensure.

Key responsibilities

Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in cardiology.
Conduct basic, translational, or clinical research with available seed funding.

Required profile

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in General Cardiology.
Eligible for Louisiana state medical licensure.
Interest in teaching, clinical practice, and translational research.
