GenAI Engineer – Charlotte, NC

About the role

Infosys is looking for a GenAI Engineer to join its Topaz AI‑first suite team. Based in Charlotte, NC, the role focuses on building and operationalising generative AI solutions that drive business value.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, transform and prepare data from relational databases for model development.
• Develop and test statistical and machine‑learning models, including large language models, using tools such as SAS, R and Python.
• Collaborate with technology teams to operationalise models into analytics tools or scripts.
• Validate model performance against business and statistical metrics and make minor adjustments.
• Support the definition of analytics problems, visualisation, analysis and predictive modelling.

Required profile

• Experience with data extraction, cleaning and quality assurance.
• Ability to work with senior team members on advanced analytics projects.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to compliance and risk.
