Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) – Full-Time

About the role

Valley Medical Center is seeking a full‑time Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) to join its collaborative GI team on the hospital campus in Renton, WA. The position includes four clinical days per week, rotating call coverage, and a dedicated GI hospitalist schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient GI clinic care for a diverse patient population.
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and ERCP (preferred).
• Participate in a rotating call schedule with six GI providers and one GI hospitalist.
• Work as a GI hospitalist on a 7‑on/7‑off, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology (BE/BC).
• MD or DO degree with eligibility for a Washington State medical license and DEA.
• Full prescriptive authority.
• Commitment to full‑time (1.0 FTE) clinical work.

Required skills

• ERCP (preferred).
• Endoscopy and colonoscopy proficiency.
