Functional Testing Consultant – Hartford, CT

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Functional Testing Consultant to join its SURE unit, supporting clients in the utilities, energy and resources sectors. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, designing test solutions, and ensuring high‑quality software delivery across multiple locations in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, capture software specifications, and create process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new applications based on detailed design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects to the development team.
• Support integration of new software features and facilitate smooth transitions within existing infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, providing prompt issue resolution and maintenance documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to enrich the team’s knowledge base.
