Functional Analyst 2 - TS/SCI w/ Poly

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Functional Analyst (FA) 2 for a new prime contract based out of its Maryland office. The schedule is 8 hours, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. The position requires a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Identify overall security requirements for data protection and the implementation of information security controls.
• Analyze customer mission needs to determine functional testing requirements.
• Work with security control assessors on systems testing and perform functional analysis to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
• Identify required resources and maintain the security posture of Information Systems or programs so that security policies, standards and procedures are followed.
• Enable System Security Planning and collaborate with engineers on system integration.
• Review and update organizational documentation affecting cybersecurity requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or a related field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, cybersecurity, information assurance); four additional years of Functional Analyst experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• At least two years of related work experience (six years without a bachelor's degree).
• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and at least one year of applying its principles.
• TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Required skills

• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM I certification.
• Risk Management Framework knowledge.
