About the role
Georgia Piedmont Technical College is seeking a full‑time Adjunct English Instructor to teach undergraduate English courses in a hybrid format, combining on‑site sessions at the Dekalb Campus with remote instruction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver lesson plans for lecture and laboratory activities.
- Teach adult learners and high‑school students enrolled in college‑level English courses.
- Assess student performance, maintain grade books and related records.
- Follow approved course syllabi and complete required documentation promptly.
- Manage inventory of assigned instructional materials.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in English (or related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in English).
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including day, evening, distance‑learning, and multiple campus assignments.
- Experience interacting with a diverse student population.
Required skills
- Computer proficiency (general).
