Full-Time Telehealth Physician – Virtual Cardiometabolic Care

About the role

join9am’s 9amHealth platform is seeking licensed physicians to join as full‑time Telehealth Physicians. You will deliver virtual specialty care to members with cardiometabolic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity and dyslipidemia, using video visits and asynchronous consultations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a balanced schedule of synchronous video appointments and on‑demand asynchronous consults.
• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, review histories, and provide evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Write prescriptions, order labs, and issue referrals in accordance with state licensure.
• Document all encounters accurately in the company’s electronic health record.
• Supervise and support the interdisciplinary care team, including dietitians, pharmacists, health coaches, ARNPs and RNs.
• Act as the supervising physician for advanced practice providers.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted license in at least one U.S. state.
• Experience managing complex cardiometabolic patients preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video telehealth platforms.
• Experience using electronic health record systems for documentation.
