About the role
The Intermediate Care Unit at the University of Miami’s UHealth system is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to work in the UTower facility. You will provide patient care as part of an academic medical center that serves South Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Key responsibilities
- Prescribe, coordinate, evaluate and deliver patient care in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care.
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Required profile
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred (ASN hires have 2 years to complete BSN).
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse license with BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum one year of acute‑care nursing experience; step‑down services preferred.
