Full-Time Nanny & Household Manager

About the role

We are a busy family in Bentonville with two working parents, a toddler and a newborn on the way. The position combines nanny duties with household management and will evolve through three phases: pre‑baby household coordination, maternity‑leave toddler support, and post‑maternity infant care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare four or more family dinners each week, handle grocery shopping, kitchen restocking and post‑meal cleanup.
• Coordinate and oversee household vendors (HVAC, electricians, plumbers, landscapers), obtain quotes, schedule repairs and manage special projects such as home renovations.
• Maintain household organization including cleaning team supervision, laundry, linen rotation, inventory of supplies, and seasonal clothing swaps.
• Provide childcare support: backup toddler pick‑up/drop‑off, daily newborn care after maternity leave, and scheduling of children’s appointments.
• Manage the family calendar using Google Calendar and Skylight, track receipts and handle administrative errands.

Required profile

• Proactive, self‑starting and able to anticipate tasks without being asked.
• Punctual, reliable and communicates clearly about any changes.
• Resourceful in obtaining multiple vendor quotes and organizing household projects.
• Comfortable around young children, with a strong interest in infant care.

Required skills

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Proficiency with Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Experience using Skylight or similar household management platforms.
