Full-Time Forklift Operator – Multiple Shifts

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking full-time Forklift Operators for its Piedmont, SC service center. Operators will work on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock handling freight across multiple shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shift schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long using a forklift.
• Operate the forklift on a roofed dock while adhering to safety protocols.
• Read and follow shipping manifests to ensure correct load placement.
• Interact with computer displays to track inventory and shipment details.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Proficiency in reading manifests and using computer displays.
• Prior forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable work ethic and ability to thrive in a high-speed setting.
• Preferred experience with less-than-truckload (LTL) operations.
