About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator to work at its Alexandria, IN service center. The position offers a starting wage of $22.93 per hour, Monday‑Friday shifts, and a benefits package that includes vacation time after 90 days.
Key responsibilities
- Move various types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read and follow manifests and interact with computer displays to track loads.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume LTL setting.
