Full Stack Java Architect

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Full Stack Java Architect to join its Retail, Consumer Goods, and Logistics unit in Atlanta. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions for clients in these industries, leveraging modern cloud and full‑stack technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide architectural recommendations, contribute to technology framework development, and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, perform comparative analysis, and propose optimal architectural solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, adhere to quality standards, and support build and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance of implemented architectures and identify potential risks.
• Create and maintain architectural artifacts and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Strong ability to analyse, design and develop scalable and secure architectures.
• Experience assessing multiple technologies, tools and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, integration patterns and enterprise architecture principles.
