Full Stack Developer - Geolocation Product Team

About the role

This team develops elements of IC geolocation product lines that meet operational requirements from the warfighter. You will work across disciplines such as UI, front-end, back-end and full stack, integrating capabilities into platforms including containers. The team uses agile scrum and DevOps, covering the full product lifecycle. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software mainly in Java, creating and implementing enhancements to existing capabilities
• Work with software and systems engineers in an agile environment to analyse requirements and derive user stories and issues for development planning
• Perform integration and testing as needed, and test and debug software code for integrated applications
• Provide tier 2 and 3 support for deployed capabilities and address bug fixes
• Work both independently and as part of a team

Required profile

• 20 years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or 4 years of additional SWE experience on similar projects in place of a degree
• TS/SCI clearance with FSP

• Preferred: Java IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code), Agile, Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, geolocation applications, container technologies, scientific Python libraries (NumPy, pandas)
