Frontend Engineer (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Frontend Engineer on a contract basis to design and build high‑performing web interfaces. You will work closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers to deliver intuitive user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and optimise performance for speed and scalability.
• Apply best practices in code reviews, continuous integration and frontend engineering.
• Translate complex requirements into clean, reusable components.
• Communicate proactively in written and verbal form to support a strong remote team culture.
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance existing applications for optimal performance.

Required profile

• Expert‑level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with experience in modern frontend frameworks.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑ready web applications.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code following industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for effective remote collaboration.
• Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously while aligning with team goals.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for outstanding user experiences.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex frontend issues.
