Front Desk Agent – Oceanfront Hotel

About the role

Join the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center as a Front Desk Agent, the first friendly face guests encounter. In this full‑time, year‑round position you will manage check‑ins, reservations, and guest requests while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Answer phones and handle guest inquiries about reservations, amenities, and local attractions.
• Process payments, receipts, and perform daily auditing tasks.
• Communicate guest needs to housekeeping, maintenance, and management.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming front desk area.
• Resolve guest concerns with patience, empathy, and problem‑solving.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as directed.
• Handle express checkout requests and coordinate special guest services.
• Maintain accurate reservation logs and update room status.

Required profile

• Previous customer service or front‑desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and reservation systems (training provided).
• Ability to stay calm and friendly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight Night Audit shifts.
