About the role

The International School of San Francisco seeks a full‑time French teacher for its Early Childhood Education Center (Preschool/Maternelle, PK2‑PK4) beginning August 2026. The teacher will deliver the French National curriculum in a bilingual setting, fostering a safe, nurturing environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Create a caring, inclusive classroom community for PK2‑PK4 students.
• Plan and teach the French Education Nationale curriculum (Toute Petite à Moyenne Section) alongside a team teacher.
• Implement daily activities aligned with child‑development best practices, Positive Discipline, and the school’s cultural values.
• Collaborate with French and English faculty on bilingual projects and curriculum integration.
• Adapt instructional materials to diverse French proficiency levels and cultural backgrounds.

Required profile
