FP&A Associate

About the role

We are looking for an analytically strong FP&A Associate to support Greystar’s Americas Principal Business, covering Investment and Development across the Americas. Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A, you will consolidate financial results, drive reporting, and lead AI‑enabled analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver consolidated management reporting packages with clear narratives for senior leadership, including the CFO and CIO.
• Coordinate cross‑functional FP&A partners for performance reviews, annual Business Plan, and reforecast cycles.
• Manage non‑payroll operating expense budgeting, forecasting, and variance tracking for APB Shared Services.
• Own cost allocation methodology, validate posted costs, and provide proactive variance summaries.
• Drive the FP&A tech stack using Microsoft 365, Anaplan, Claude and build AI‑enabled workflows to accelerate reporting.

Required profile

• At least five years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical rigor with ability to translate complex analyses into executive‑ready narratives.
• Experience presenting financial results to senior leadership and collaborating with accounting and corporate finance teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Copilot.
• Experience with Anaplan or comparable FP&A planning tools.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Claude.
• Knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI or Databricks is a plus.
