Founding Recruiter

About the role

We are looking for a founding recruiter to join Hera’s early‑stage team in New York. As the right‑hand on talent, you will shape how we attract, evaluate and hire the people who will build the next generation of care managers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting funnel – sourcing, screening, negotiating and closing for both technical and business roles.
• Design and deliver a premium candidate experience while coaching hiring managers.
• Proactively hunt top talent using AI‑driven sourcing tools and creative outreach strategies.
• Partner with the founders on talent strategy, helping decide which roles to open, in what order, and defining hiring standards.
• Implement rigorous processes for role calibration, interview loops and decision making.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a “founder” mentality and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
• Strong communication skills to translate the company narrative to candidates and hiring teams.
• Proven track record of end‑to‑end recruiting in fast‑moving startup environments.
• Comfort working closely with C‑level founders and influencing hiring decisions.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑enabled sourcing platforms and modern recruiting tools.
• Ability to manage high‑volume pipelines while maintaining high craftsmanship.
