Founding Product Manager - Finance

About the role

Sema4.ai is building AI‑driven finance agents that automate core finance workflows. As the founding product manager you will define the multi‑quarter strategy, shape the roadmap, and own delivery of the AI finance portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi‑quarter strategy and roadmap for AI finance agents.
• Make portfolio decisions on depth vs. breadth, build vs. partner, and release criteria.
• Drive platform requirements such as runbooks, actions, document intelligence, HITL, observability, and evaluation frameworks.
• Set company‑level quality standards for ledger‑touching agents, including accuracy targets, SLAs, auditability, and rollback controls.
• Partner with GTM leadership on positioning, packaging, pricing, and market narrative.
• Collaborate with design‑partner companies to gather feedback and translate gaps into product improvements.
• Elevate the product organization’s thinking about AI agents across the company.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience delivering B2B SaaS or enterprise products at scale.
• Proven track record shipping AI/LLM‑powered products and managing evaluation, hallucination, and agent design challenges.
• Deep working knowledge of finance operations (e.g., three‑way match, period close, accruals, SOX controls).
• Demonstrated ability to influence roadmaps and strategy beyond direct ownership.
• Technical fluency to discuss agent architecture, prompts, RAG, evaluation frameworks, and ERP integration with senior engineers.
• Executive presence to engage CFOs and secure committed use cases.
