Founding GTM Lead

About the role

GovSignals is seeking a Founding GTM Lead to design and launch an AI‑native go‑to‑market engine. Reporting directly to the founding team, you will shape the growth function, turning word‑of‑mouth traction into a scalable, data‑driven engine that reaches federal primes, Fortune 500 contractors, and government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an AI‑powered GTM engine, including enrichment pipelines, LLM‑driven personalization, and automated outbound using tools such as Clay, n8n, Zapier, Make, Apollo, Instantly/Smartlead, Lindy, Gumloop, and custom GPT/LLM APIs.
• Run rapid growth experiments on messaging, channels, and ideal customer profiles; ship daily, measure weekly, and iterate.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives—deck decks, demos, one‑pagers, case studies, and landing pages.
• Plan and execute end‑to‑end campaigns: email sequences, paid/social ads, webinars, conference activations, and ABM plays.
• Define and track key metrics (CAC, LTV, funnel conversion), build dashboards, and refine strategy based on data.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and deployment teams to align GTM programs with product roadmaps and sales workflows.

• Hands‑on marketer who treats AI tooling as a daily workbench rather than a buzzword.
• Self‑starter comfortable building systems that replace larger teams.
• Data‑driven decision maker who prioritizes measurable results over intuition.

Required skills

• Automation platforms: Clay, n8n, Zapier, Make.
• Outbound and prospecting tools: Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, Lindy, Gumloop.
• Experience with custom GPTs and LLM APIs for personalization.
• Ability to create compelling marketing collateral (decks, demos, case studies, landing pages).
