Foundations Engineer (Deep Infra)

About the role

Rox is building an AI‑native revenue operating system where autonomous agents continuously ingest context, make decisions, and trigger actions. The Foundations Engineer will design and operate the deep‑infra systems that power these agents, ensuring low‑latency, reliable, and observable execution at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core distributed systems that enable real‑time context ingestion and retrieval for Rox agents.
• Build low‑latency decision‑making infrastructure that supports high‑throughput AI workloads.
• Enhance reliability, observability, and fault tolerance across the agent runtime stack.
• Develop execution frameworks for long‑running, multi‑step agent workflows.
• Collaborate with product and forward‑deployed engineers to translate infrastructure capabilities into customer impact.
• Rapidly ship production systems and iterate based on real‑world usage.

Required profile

• Proven experience building large‑scale infrastructure systems in production.
• Background with distributed data platforms, streaming compute, or real‑time analytics.
• Strong intuition for latency, scalability, and fault‑tolerant design.
