Forklift Operator – 1st Shift (Savannah, GA)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our Savannah, GA warehouse on the 1st shift. The role involves loading and unloading materials, operating various warehouse equipment, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Use manifests to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers with loading and unloading trucks.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment safely.
• Pick, pack, scan, kit, and count products while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify and record overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) and report discrepancies.
• Follow TSA and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure workplace.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of warehouse or material‑handling experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lb unassisted and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime, occasional weekends, and minimal supervision.
• Fluent in spoken, written, and read English.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (including reach truck).
• Pallet jack operation.
• Use of RF scan gun for inventory tasks.
• Banding and shrink‑wrap handling.
