Food Services Technician

About the role

The Food Services Technician prepares balanced, ethnically diverse meals for a residential treatment facility in Los Angeles. You will ensure nutrition standards, support special‑diet needs, and help with fundraising events.

Key responsibilities

• Train, direct, and supervise client crews in proper food‑service procedures.
• Prepare well‑balanced meals and snacks, adhering to posted menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and storage areas.
• Follow all health‑code regulations and report equipment issues promptly.
• Inventory, rotate, and ensure freshness of food supplies.
• Prepare meals for clients with medical or nutritional requirements.
• Assist with meal ticket sales and invoice processing.
• Support the Food Services Manager and Assistant Manager with additional duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months experience in a culinary setting.
• Ability to pass company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 75 lb, and perform repetitive hand motions for 6‑8 hours.
• Willingness to undergo random drug screenings.
