About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a Food Service Worker II to join its Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. This position supports daily food operations, serving employees, clients, and visitors while upholding high standards of safety and service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, heat and finish cooking a variety of food items according to recipes and safety standards.
- Serve meals and beverages to customers, clients, or employees in a timely and courteous manner.
- Handle cash transactions and disburse money when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware.
Required profile
- Combination of relevant education, training, or experience that equips the candidate to perform food service duties.
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Flexibility to work any shift as needed.
