Floating Maintenance Technician – Kent & Tacoma

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to float between its Kent and Tacoma portfolios in Washington. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical work on property systems and equipment.
• Maintain and repair building components, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
• Respond to service requests promptly and ensure issues are resolved to the company’s quality standards.
• Travel between Kent and Tacoma sites as needed to support multiple properties.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a residential or commercial setting.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to exceed expectations.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks across locations.
