Flight Medicine Physician – Navy – $400k Bonus

About the role

The U.S. Navy is seeking a Flight Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to aviators, aircrew, and operational personnel. This full‑time, in‑person position combines clinical practice with aviation, leadership, and operational responsibilities across the United States and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary care and conduct aviation physical examinations for Navy and Marine Corps aviation personnel.
• Maintain medical readiness and oversee health‑related performance metrics.
• Advise command leadership on health and performance issues.
• Provide medical support in both domestic and overseas operational environments.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified) with an unrestricted medical license.
• Eligible to complete Navy Flight Surgeon training.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Age between 21 and 57, as required by Federal law (Title 10 U.S. Code sections 531‑532).
