Fleet Operations Associate

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Fleet Operations Associate in Warwick, Rhode Island, to join its Fleet Operations Team. The associate keeps cars clean and maintained and moves them to where Zipcar members need them, working all around the city by foot, bike, public transit or Zipcar. The role is hands-on: changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or coordinating a tow or repair.

Key responsibilities

• Keep vehicles clean and maintained so they are ready for Zipcar members
• Move vehicles to where they are needed, using foot, bike, public transit or a Zipcar
• Perform quick maintenance such as tire changes, refueling and cleaning
• Help coordinate tows and repairs
• Provide vehicle status updates to the operations team

Required profile

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record (per company standards)
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs.)
• Willingness to work outdoors under varying weather and conditions
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
