Fleet Coordinator

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Fleet Coordinator to use technology to guide its team in the field so that the rental fleet stays ready for members. Vehicles must be clean, in good condition and ready to drive, and the coordinator works internally with the team and externally with vendors to keep everyone on time and organized.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the repair life cycle of vehicles, from the moment they need repair until they return to rent, working with supply chain partners, maintenance vendors, shuttling companies, towing vendors and impound recovery facilities
• Help keep the fleet available to customers by moving vehicles around the lot and occasionally going into the field to assist with work tickets
• Update the Zipcar work management platform daily with completion ETAs, repair notes and close out the ticket loop
• Secure in-fleet units from ABG, including requests, branding, key tethering and up-kitting
• Schedule de-fleet units for disposal

Required profile

• Strong relationship-building skills
• Background working with third-party vendors
• Background working with online ticket-based workflows (strongly preferred)
• Background working with fleets (strongly preferred)
• Logistics background (preferred)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to business needs
