Finance & Operations Analyst

About the role

The Finance & Operations Analyst supports the bank’s core accounting operations, financial reporting, and control environment. This role owns the Accounts Payable function while contributing to monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Accounts Payable lifecycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment execution and reconciliations.
• Manage vendor database, contracts and key contacts.
• Maintain Prepaid and Fixed Asset modules.
• Assist in the annual review and update of finance policies and procedures.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly Board reporting packages with presentation materials and analysis.
• Deliver required monthly submissions to the Federal Reserve and the FHLB, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Produce quarterly investor reporting packages with supporting schedules and analysis.
• Perform daily trial balance review, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including schedule preparation and documentation.
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
• Maintain organized finance documentation to support audit readiness.
• Contribute to financial statement preparation and ensure reporting follows US GAAP.
• Implement new accounting guidance published by the FASB as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in accounting, finance or a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
