Finance and Accounting Senior Analyst

About the role

The Protiviti Americas Delivery Center is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its growing finance and accounting competency. The delivery center provides cost-effective, tech-enabled, standardized services at scale to support Protiviti's global clients, covering Technology, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit and Financial Advisory, and Business Performance Improvement. Staff work on projects assigned to them, and the site capabilities may include research, development, maintenance, testing, validation, reporting and other activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute work and analysis within accounting processes and workstreams of varying complexity
• Carry out transaction-based activities: verify information, validate data, reconcile accounts, post entries, prepare vouchers, statements, invoices and reports, and process transactions
• Take part in project and team meetings, including kickoff and closing, and prepare status reports with findings, dashboards and next steps
• Mentor others by demonstrating excellent client service, technical and professional knowledge
• Review colleagues' project work for quality and accuracy and give constructive feedback
• Support innovation by recommending improvements to service delivery, such as automation and standardization
• Act as a mentor, trainer and coach, and identify risks and opportunities to improve operational efficiency

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field, or equivalent relevant work experience
• 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting or related fields, in professional services or industry
• Interest in finance and accounting trends, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentoring others

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Preferred: experience with accounting software or similar systems such as SAP or Blackline

What we offer

• Salary range of $47,000 to $79,000 depending on experience, skills and location
• Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus
