Finance and Accounting Analyst

About the role

Protiviti's Americas Delivery Center (ADC) in Ohio is looking for an Analyst to join its finance and accounting competency. The ADC delivers cost-effective, tech-enabled, standardized services at scale to support Protiviti's global clients, covering Technology, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit and Financial Advisory, and Business Performance Improvement. Analysts work on projects assigned to them, with training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Research, development, maintenance, testing, validation, reporting and other activities based on client needs.
• Execute transaction-based activities such as verifying information for accuracy and completeness, data validation, account reconciliations, posting and preparing outputs (vouchers, statements, invoices and reports).
• Process transactions and collaborate with project teams and ADC personnel.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with related work experience, or a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant academic area.
• Interest in finance and accounting principles and trends.
• Detail-oriented, organized, adaptable and able to learn project management concepts.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and to communicate findings clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to absorb new knowledge and adapt to changing roles.

What we offer

• Salary range of $41,000 to $67,000 depending on experience, skills and location.
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
