Finance and Accountability Specialist

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Finance and Accountability Specialist to ensure accurate financial and accounting operations. You will be responsible for maintaining precise records, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between accounting and bank records.
• Record and monitor customer and supplier invoices, ensuring proper allocation and timely payments.
• Prepare periodic financial reports with basic analysis of income, expenses, and balance sheets.
• Monitor cash flows and treasury operations, anticipating liquidity needs.
• Assist in monthly and annual accounting closings, handling income, expenses, amortizations, and provisions.
• Support tax compliance and filing under supervision of the tax department.
• Maintain organized financial documentation for internal and external audits.
• Participate in automation and improvement of financial processes, including tool implementation.
• Conduct budget deviation analyses and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management control, tax, and audit teams to ensure data integrity.

Required profile

• Advanced vocational training in Administration and Finance or a university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable finance/accounting role.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish at B2 level.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Proficiency in PowerBI for data visualization.
