Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and supports cutting‑edge smart home technology while helping customers upgrade to safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems in residential settings.
• Assess customers' homes and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Provide on‑site training to homeowners on the operation of their new smart home system.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and sales activities.
• Utilize company‑provided tools, tablet, and vehicle to complete appointments efficiently.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong communication skills.
• Sales mindset; experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage a 4‑day work week schedule.

Required skills

• Installation of security cameras.
• Installation of smart locks.
• Installation and troubleshooting of home automation systems.
