Field Service Professional – Smart Home Tech

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the face of our smart home solutions in Memphis. You will install cutting‑edge technology, educate homeowners, and identify upgrade opportunities to enhance safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes on‑site and recommend upgraded equipment or service enhancements.
• Train homeowners on system operation to ensure confidence and peace of mind.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.

Required profile

• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Customer‑first attitude – ability to build rapport with diverse customers while acting with integrity.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background and licensing checks.
